Founding Vision: Seeds of Change (2015)

Ustawi Afrika was born from the realization that despite immense agricultural potential, African farmers often faced systemic barriers to prosperity. A group of visionary agronomists, economists, and community leaders came together in Nairobi, Kenya, determined to bridge this gap through innovation and direct empowerment.

Pilot Programs & Community Trust (2017)

Our initial pilot programs launched in select communities in Western Kenya and Uganda, focusing on sustainable farming techniques and basic market access. This phase was crucial for building trust, understanding local needs, and refining our hands-on approach. The early successes laid the foundation for scaling our operations.

Expanding Footprint & Strategic Partnerships (2020)

Recognizing our proven model, Ustawi Afrika began securing significant partnerships with international development agencies and technology firms. This period saw our expansion into Tanzania and Rwanda, introducing digital literacy and climate-smart agriculture programs.

Innovation Hub Launch & Global Recognition (2023)

The grand opening of our state-of-the-art Innovation Hub in Kiambu, Kenya, marked a new era.
